World Amateur Radio Day was created in honour of founding of the IARU in Paris in 1925. On this occasion, every year on 18th of April, we organise a radio traffic competition. On this amateur radio holiday, we invite everyone to a short activity on the 80-meter shortwave band. Contacting the youngest and oldest are worth high scores in the competition. The multipliers are the different ages contacted. This contest provides a great practice opportunity for everyone. Our primary goal is that young people can practice radio activity and contesting, and that senior radio amateurs are also included. In recent years, many young people made their first contacts in these activities, and a good number of senior people also participated. |
For the sake of those who are not regular contesters, we have created a web-based log keeping program that is very similar to a paper log. With the help of this, they can send a log to the contest. The program can be found on https://log.mrasz.hu/ under the name ONLINE QSO-logger. Don’t forget to read the user manual! Recommended log programs are DxLog.net and N1MM+ Testen räknas i HFCC, QRX så kommer den in i kalendern. |
