Qso Party Day Contest organized by Marconi Club reach the 7th edition, always with formula of “Short Contest”;
this year the Event date is placed on January 4th 2025. The aims is to make our Club know to the New
Generations, and bring together all those who truly love and believe in telegraphy, and promote the MARCONI
CLUB A.R.I. LOANO, founded on May the 8th 1988 by Libero Meriggi I1YXN, strongly motivated by the famous
DX-peditioner Baldur DJ6SI.
During the event will be involved all member of historic Club, which today counts almost 1000 members from all
over the Globe, and all passionated of this stupendous and magnificent art.
Also for this year the BEGALI Company, the famous Italian factory knows in the whole world for the high quality
of his CW Keys, will support the Contest, with the donation of an own production Key, that will represent the
prize for the First Place. Also for the category “Independents” we will have a prize offered from IT9VDQ
Giuseppe. Furthermore we will have a nice new regarding the upload of the LOG, that will be accepted
exclusively in Cabrillo format; LOG will be uploaded on the website of Marconi Club ARI Loano at the URL

 Member of MARCONI CLUB A.R.I. Loano will pass RST report follow by the membership number
in 3 digit format (599 MC123).
 Non members will contact just registered HAM at Marconi Club A.R.I. Loano and will pass RST
report + progressive number (599 001). Independent stations can connect to each other.
Points: 5 Points each Qso made with Members of MARCONI CLUB A.R.I. Loano
1 Points each Qso made with Non Member Stations (Independent)
Each station can be worked once per Band. Total Score will result from Total Qso Points per Total
Mult. Independent Station can work anybody
Multipliers: Members of MARCONI CLUB A.R.I. LOANO are multipliers on each Band
Logs: Log must contains: Date, UTC, Call, Band, Mode, Marconist number received, If any of this
info will miss, log will be classified as CHECKLOG. Logs must be exclusively in CABRILLO
format, will be NOT ACCEPTED other format. Logs must be uploaded on www.marconiclub.it
or sent by email to the expiry date will be on 12/01/2025
Software: It is strongly encouraged the use of the following logging software: QARTest, N1MM, SD and
DXLOG; all these software support MCD Contest, and will generates a log compliant with the
required standard.
Ranking: Will be processed a Point Ranking List, in case of same result will be considered winning the
station with more QSO’s in the log. An excessive numbers of QSO not verified, will give as result
the penalty of exclusion from the Ranking List.
Any decision of the Secretary and the Contest Manager of the MARCONI CLUB organizer of the
event are final.

Award: All participants will be allow to download the PDF Participations Award.
Permanent Award: all contacts with station members of MARCONI CLUB ARI Loano are valids for
