The EUHFC Contest Committee invites you to get on the air and participate in the 2026 EU HF Championship (32nd edition) organized by the Slovenia Contest Club. The contest will take place this weekend, on Saturday, August 1, 2026. All EU hams are warmly welcome and encouraged to join the fun!
EUHFC is known as a 12-hour CW/SSB race with high rates, starts at 12.00 UTC and ends at 23.59 UTC, bands: 160, 80, 40, 20, 15, 10m.
8 different categories, all Single operator:
MIX mode (HP & LP)
CW only (HP & LP)
SSB only (HP & LP)
Unlimited (Mix mode only, no power separation, no band/mode change restrictions)
QRP (Mix mode only, up to 5 watts)
EU – EU contacts count considering the current CQWW countries list. The multiplier format is the last two digits of the operator’s first ever official amateur radio license, with no exception regarding Special Event Calls, Contest calls, etc. Exactly the same rules apply for all participants: the operator’s first ever official license counts as a valid exchange (SWL license counts as well).
Important rule changes for EUHFC 2026:
Key changes have been introduced regarding self-spotting which is now allowed for all categories and human operator requirements. Please review the updated rules before the contest begins to ensure compliance. Pay special attention to the Terms of Competition (points h, i, and j) and Section 14 regarding spamming public spotting networks with excessive self-spots and false identities.

All-time records for all categories are also available for separate DXCC countries.
All submitted logs in Cabrillo format must be uploaded from the Log Submission page no later than 48 hours after the contest (Monday 23.59 UTC). We strongly encourage everyone to submit a log, as even small logs help us accurately evaluate the final scores. All participants who submit a log can download certificates once the results are finalized.
